About Us

We are husband and wife team, Ian and Lesley Parkinson, who launched Soul Star Crystals & Organics in 2007, and we are based in Wesham on the edge of Kirkham, a small market-town located mid-way between Preston and Blackpool in Lancashire.

Ian is a qualified Crystal Therapist, registered with the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA). He has been an active member of the BCMA's Voluntary Self-Regulation Progress Committee which has been formulating a process of self-regulation for a number of complementary therapies. He is currently representing Crystal Therapy on the interim British Complementary Therapies Council for Voluntary Self-Regulation (BCTC). He is also the Chair of the Association of Vibrational Energy (AVE), a north-west Lancashire-based association of energy therapists (crystals, reiki, etc.).

Lesley has a long-held interest in organic and eco-friendly products, searching out and testing all the products we offer on this site before we are happy to sell them to the public.

Our aim at Soul Star Crystals & Organics is to provide a wide range of good quality crystals for both therapy and ornamental use, together with a range of useful, eco-friendly and, wherever possible, organic products.

From mid-2009, Ian is planning to run crystal workshops in the Preston-Blackpool area. Click on the courses and workshops link above for more information. Ian has also assisted in teaching the two-year Crystal Therapist diploma course run by the British Academy of Crystal Healing (BACH).
